The only way to win in life is to get an unfair advantage by stacking your deck.
Imagine you got to bring your own deck of cards to your next poker game.
What kind of cards would you put in that deck?
Would you keep the twos in or would you stack it with Aces?
We love to think that life decides our decks, that the hand we are dealt with is subject to random chance, but that’s not true.
We create the deck, life just deals the hand.
Everything you learn, every growth you partake in, everything you try and every positive habits puts a new card into your deck.
This goes for everything you do, including every positive and negative.
Smoking is another two of clubs, while reading may be an eight of hearts, and working out may be a jack of diamonds.
At this point, your deck is probably thousands, if not millions of cards, big.
The hand you draw will randomly be chosen, but you can still stack your deck, flushing out the low cards by drastically increasing the high cards.
This still means that your hand will be rather random, but will never be out of your control completely.
