Should I Stop Being Naïve? — What Benefits You Fail to See

Personally, I love being naïve and idealistic. It makes the world a much more positive place to be in.

There are obviously people that take advantage of that but I would rather love the world for its positivity and be cheated once or twice than to walk around with a gun in my pocket being scared to death that every person I could meet will rob me.
