Start Your Day Right: What To Do In The First 2 Hours of Your Day

  • Waking up Early. Ideally somewhere around 5 a.m.
    - Robin Sharma describes this as the “Hour of Power” and many successful people adopt a similar stance to rising early; although not all. What matters more is how you start your day than when you do.
    - Test for yourself what works best and what makes your days the best. The trend, however, is towards an early rise.
  • Breaking a Sweat. As soon as you wake up, go and do something active.
    - Your body is still have asleep, your mind even more, and to do the rest of these amazing morning habits you have to activate your body.
    - A short jog, a walk around the block or a full workout; it doesn’t matter as long as it is active.
  • Taking a Cold Shower. Sorry, but this often charges you way more than a warm shower.
    - There are benefits to both, warm and cold showers, however, to activate your body and after a workout a cold shower is often recommended.
    - Again, test what works best for you, the trend is that cold showers tend to work better.
  • Meditation or Gratitude. Now that your body is activated make sure your mind is in the right place.
    - Sometimes things from the day before, or odd dreams, keep us deep in our heads. (This is doubly true if you check your phone early).
