Stay Concentrated: Direct Your Focus And You Will Control Your Concentration

When talking about focus and concentration most people get it confused.

Most people think that there are moments of concentration and times where all concentration just disappears like a cloud in the wind.

The truth, however, is that you are always concentrated.

The problem: You are not always concentrated on what you want to be.

Every second of every minute of every day we are always doing something.

One cannot do nothing. It doesn’t work.

Even during meditation the thoughts are focused on something specific, as there can be no complete lack of thinking.

That being said, our brain is always concentrated, in a way, on the task at hand, even if that sometimes means we are thinking about our grocery list while we are at work.

The better way then to think about improving your concentration is to direct it rather than grow it.

If you want to feel more concentrated you have to funnel it to the thoughts and actions you want it to go by doing the following:

  1. Choose What To Concentrate On — Make an active choice to direct that Focus of yours whenever you remember to do it, otherwise it will go…
