A Time for Everything

  • Plan everything in advance — A filled schedule will be your best friend once you get used to it. Plan everything at least 24 hours in advance, if not at least 48 hours in advance. Your schedule will not be perfect, but it will be an amazing help and guideline.
  • Plan all the things that come up instantly — Randomly during the day things will come up, such as another business meeting or you remembering that you still need some groceries. Plan those things into your schedule immediately or adjust it accordingly to accommodate for them and get them out of your mind and into action ASAP.
  • Change your schedule as soon as it changes — Things never go as planned, but if you keep your schedule the same you will think you are falling behind as soon as things don’t go as planned. The schedule is a tool not your boss.

A Place for Everything

  • Organize everything by categories — Every document should have its place as well as every note. For notes it is especially important you find a temporary binder that you have easy access to. Put categories within each place to make future organizing easier.
  • Review times for categories set in stone — Review every bit of your information at least 1–2 times a month. Look at your bank…
