Step Into A State Of Flow: 8 Ways To Establish Strong Focus

- Listen To Instrumental Music — Particularly upbeat or motivational music can invoke feelings of flow. Music can create emotion, so be aware of both the lyrics and tone of the music you listen to.
- Stretch & Relax — From time to time stand up and activate your body. If you keep your body at rest too long it will try to actually get some rest in. Do not let it sleep if you need it to be awake. Vice versa, you should also not stress so much that you are always on full alert or you will burn yourself out within just a few hours.
- Take Deep Breaths — Oxygen is a primary resource the brain needs. If you can increase the oxygen flow to your brain you will increase it’s functionality. So take some conscious deep breaths and drink a bit more water than you feel you should, for both increase the blood flow to where it’s needed.
- Take A Motivation Break — Ideally, you should have a few different playlists of songs, videos and picture folders that inspire certain emotions. Motivation, Happiness, Gratitude, Sadness, Courage, Inspiration just to name a few. Use these folders when you need them and keep adding to them.
- Just Work — Do not try to do more than you are willing to do and just work; not for a particular end, but for you. The less you expect the more you open yourself up to…
