- Most people are looking for connections. 9 out of 10 times you want others to approach you too, especially if they add more fun to whatever you’re doing at the time. Other people think this way too about you. Be the one that is brave enough to try to add to a group.
- People do not want to make the first move. Everyone expects others to join them and their agendas. I you can be brave enough to try, even if you fail at first, you will later find that the confidence you gain from trying already puts you ahead of the game. Try and you will fail a lot, but you will also succeed at times, and the groups you succeed with will be the best groups to join.
- Do not expect anything or have any hidden agenda. This is especially important when talking to people in scenarios where they get hit on a lot, such as bars or clubs. You must be honest and direct with your agenda. Bonus points if your agenda is simple and straight-forward; such as just trying to have more fun vs. getting someone’s number.
- Have fun without them. Or, in other words: Be a fun person by yourself. If you can have fun without anyone there you will attract others to you that want a part of that joy. This also makes all the rest of the points much easier to follow.
