1. A Real Man gives more than he wishes to receive

He knows that if he gives 2 for every 1 he receives, his life will leave a positive impact on the world.

2. A Real Man Always Follows Through

He does not break his word to others or himself, for he knows the power words hold. If he doesn’t want to do something he will simply not commit.

3. A Real Man Never Compromise on what Matters

He stands for everything he believes in regardless of the situation. That means he helps others, is the first to act, and pushes through his own resistance or the resistance of the world to stay true to himself.

4. A Real Man looks to Himself, not the World

He will take full responsibility for his mistakes, his situation and the effects of his actions. He will celebrate his wins and right his wrongs and never look to the world to excuse himself or to push off the responsibility. He is where he is because of what he did, for better and for worse.

5. A Real Man Has A Higher Cause

He strives for his own version of greatness, whatever that means to him, because he believes in it so strongly that he cannot help but act. His cause is greater than himself, which forces him to act regardless of how he feels. In those situations he acts first and thinks later.

6. A Real Man Respects Others

He is not so conceited to think that he knows everything or that he can judge anyone accurately. He has no idea of what others went through, and even if he learns what they went through and doesn’t think it is that important he respects the fact that it was important to the other person. He respects others for simply trying to live the best life they can and he knows he does not have to agree with their choices to do that.

7. A Real Man Stays Grounded

He is not better or worse than anyone else but different. He is just as valuable as everybody around him no matter how far he reaches.

8. A Real Man allows himself to Be Emotional

He does not care whether he cries, feels angry, or frustrated at times. Those emotions are his and he has them for a reason. He is confident enough in himself to be himself.

9. A Real Man keeps A Good Sense of Humor

He takes few things very seriously for he knows most things are not as serious as they first appear. He has enough of a calm to keep the bigger picture in mind and therefore has the ability to find a way to laugh it off, for he can easily find a solution and he acts immediately!

10. A Real Man Lives his Life by Example

He does not talk about what he does but shows it through his actions. He is the leader that runs in the front and braves the storm, and because of this he pulls everyone important to him through with him. “Be Bold- and mighty forces will come to your aid.” — Basil King
