1. Writing Down Their Goals. No matter what successful person I come into contact with, they all have some form of reminding themselves of their cause or goals every single day.
In Think and Grow Rich — by Napoleon Hill the author talks about writing down exactly what you want every morning and evening. Most successful people have adopted this habit, or a version thereof. While some swear on this habit, others just believe that it is a powerful reminder of their goals and gets them set and ready for the day.
This habit has repeated itself in various mediums over the decades since the book has been first published, showing just how relevant it still is. This is due to some of the clear benefits:
- It Prevents You From Getting Too Comfortable. Comfort is what kills action and progress. You relax when you feel you reached your goal, and while that is mostly fine, the world will continue to progress around you, making you feel as though you are regressing instead. If you have not reached your goals yet, and are not progressing, you will stagnate and never get to your goals.
