The 7 Steps You Need To Make Writing A Daily Habit

- Set Yourself A Commitment — Create a very set commitment for yourself, something that makes it easy for you to follow. This should be something objective. Either a time-based or end-result based commitment usually works best. Make this commitment small. It should be something you will still do on your worst day. Do not aim for things you can only do on your best for that will ruin the habit.
- Make It Public — As much as you can, use your commitment for something in the real world. If it is writing, then post it online or publish it. If it is a sport, then join tournaments. Do not just keep it to yourself for that will ruin the seriousness of the commitment.
- Set Up Reminders — Most of the time it is not the lack of willpower that ruins commitments but simply forgetting that you made the commitment in the first place. Life is busy and we have other things to worry about. If you do not remind yourself multiple times a day of your commitment, you will likely forget it.
- Create A Sub-Goal — You likely have a main, overarching, end goal when it comes to your habit; something that you are doing it for in the end. But it is also likely a very long journey there. Start by creating a sub-goal that you can fully complete. For instance; if you are writing then set yourself the goal to write 100 Posts or Pages by the end…
