  • I Stopped Listening To Other People — Do this, do that, don’t do this, don’t do that. There are so many things other people told me to do that I got sick and tired of it. Screw everybody else. I will do my own thing because this is my own life.
  • I Stopped Feeling Sorry For Myself — My life was the way it was… and it was not good. I hated my life; it sucked. But instead of complaining about it to my friends and hiding in video games I realized I had to do something about it, and I did. This coined one of my favorite questions:
  • I Started To Take Responsibility — “Okay… now what?” quickly became one of my favorite questions to ask myself. Okay… I accept this is where I am at. My life is what it is, for better and for worse. Now what am I going to do about it?
  • I Got Help — My actions had gotten me to this point in my life. I could only go so far on my own, but I didn’t need to. Why did I feel I had to reinvent the wheel? Why could I not just find someone that could tell me how I could build the wheel? Why did I have to reinvent my own life instead of getting the help of someone who could guide my life where I wanted it to go?
