The Best Way To Deal With Failure Is Not Dealing With It: Here’s Why
Sometimes we feel like the world is crashing down around us.
We look back, not sure of how we got where we are today, and everything just seems like a mess.
We failed so much, so often and everything in life just seems like a colossal failure.
Maybe this speaks to you, maybe it only does a little bit, but we have all had at least some moments like this.
The best way to deal with this kind of realization is, quite ironically, not to deal with it.
In an attempt to deal with a past like this we hold onto it so much longer and it ends up haunting us much much more than it would otherwise.
Instead, we must accept it and move on as soon as we can.
Life is a massive failure right now. That sucks. Move on.
I know this is advice a lot of people give us and you likely agree that it is not nearly as easy to do as just moving on, but no one said it would be.
You must accept your life for what it is now and ignore how you got here, at least in a very large part, for it just does not matter anymore.
What matters is where you are and where you want to be. Everything before then just holds you back.
