The End Of The Path
A lot of people will tell you that, at the end of it all, all that matters is that you were happy.
Money, success, fame, power, love, family, the car, the house, the bank accounts and the experiences are all great, but none of them will be of any value if they didn’t allow you to lead a happy life.
In the end, everything is but a stepping stone to happiness.
However, that being said that still begs the question of what will bring you happiness.
You could have all the money in the world, but if you are a romantic at heart then it will not matter how much money you have.
You will always feel cheated and like people want your money more than you.
Vice versa, you could have the love of your life right by your side, but if you love the idea of living in a lavish luxury then being in love may not be as fantastic as everyone says it is.
What brings you joy will still depend on you.
Not all the stepping stones will have the same effect on you.
And while happiness does matter most in the end, getting there is still not easy.
What I mean to say with this is simply this:
At the end of your life what matters is that you did what makes you happy.
