The Most Frustrating Thing In Life

Most all of us know what to do, know exactly how to achieve what we want to achieve, or know how to find out how to get there.

We have the skills, abilities, intellect, courage, knowledge, power, and capability to get everything we ever wanted but rarely do because we stop ourselves.

How many times have we all tried to hit the gym regularly? To truly give ourselves to another person? Or to read more, work harder, or to become amazing at anything?

And how often did we truly see it through?

It’s not in our ability to get the life we want that we fail, but in our courage to try, our ability to stay present, and our ability to do things we do not want to do.

We fail because we get in our own way.

We value comfort more than the discomfort of working for the life we want.

We value resting on the couch more than the pain of getting fit.

We value staying hidden and safe in a bad place more than being vulnerably out in the open, even if it brings the potential of something better.

We stop ourselves to prevent danger, pain and discomfort, but in doing so close ourselves off to all we could achieve.
