The Most Important Life Lesson I Ever Learned

Nothing ever truly ends.

Worry creates a big, dark wall in front of us that is made out of thick shadows flowing down.

We cannot see beyond that wall and encounter it every time we worry about something or when we notice something is over.

A breakup leaves us facing this wall, often not knowing how to continue to live without the person that has become such a big part of our lives.

Every time we get fired or quit our jobs it is another new abyss we stand in front of.

And even finishing a good book or series on TV can leave us feeling empty.

The more intense something is that comes to a close, the more lost we feel.

We cannot see beyond such dark moments and dread to think about it because we do not see how we could move on from that.

What if your partner does divorce you? What if your boss fires you tomorrow or your friends abandon you?

What if you get into an accident that changes your life?

What if you never find love? What if you never become happy again? What if you never lead the life you want to lead?

All of these worries have that same wall in common.
