The Most Important Things I Wished I Knew In High School

- Your life is just starting. Take your time.
- Your relationships and friendships only mean something now. Most won’t last. Stop taking the ones that go south so seriously and focus on a few that you invest in to last.
- Money doesn’t change you. Neither does love. If you don’t like yourself now you won’t like yourself then.
- Things Change. Nothing ever stays the same.
- No one has a clue about life. Sorry, you have to figure it out yourself.
- Be adaptable. Your life will change, don’t bank on the one plan you have for your future to go perfectly.
- Your high school years do not have to be your best years. Most people just stop trying to make their life better after high school.
- Everyone feels lost at times. It’s okay that you do too. You have time to figure things out.
- It’s not too late. Unless you are lying on your deathbed after having tried a thousand different things, you don’t even get to think that way!
- Money is solved. Anyone can become rich, you just have to find the right resources to learn how, and they are all readily available.
- Your Salary won’t make you rich. It’s the investments that will.
