The Most Misunderstood Trap Of Life: Sadness As A Comfort Zone
Life sucks, everything is awful and, in all honesty, you just want to be sad.
Happiness seems like a thing that only exists in fairy tales, but even if you could reach it… you don’t want to.
Well, it’s not so much that you do not want to reach it, but more that it would make you uncomfortable to suddenly be happy.

After all, how can you be happy when you have been sad for so long?

Many people that suffer from depressions, or have been sad for a long time, feel that they do not want to be happy.
They just want to be miserable.

We humans are creatures of habit and comfort.
We build our entire lives to create a sort-of balance around who we are, what we have and what we do.
It is this balance of habits that brings us comfort.
