The One-Month Guide: 30 Days to a Better You

- Read & apply — Pick a book with an interesting title, read it and apply what it tells you to. Too often do we read, think “wow… that’s a great idea” and then leave it at that, never looking back to the book again.
- Get up earlier — Force your self-discipline to aid you and wake up as early as you can. The extra hour or two in the morning will make you feel amazing especially if you get more done than you thought you could.
- Avoid Sugars for a month — Or whatever unhealthy foods you can. The truth is: you don’t need them. Once you really understand that it is merely a choice to eat these foods but that you can control it and even like eating healthy you open up a world of options to yourself.
- Stop saying “but” — Have more positivity and reinforcements in your life by removing that word from your vocabulary for a month. If you feel it creeping up replace it with “yes, and…” instead.
- Never focus on what you “can’t” do — Catch yourself as often as you can throughout the month and shift your focus on what you can do instead. Even if what you cannot do is much bigger than what you can do it will still do wonders to you when you focus on what you can do. Keep your mind open to possibilities and opportunities.
