The Problem With Finding Your Purpose

Every person in your life thinks they know what’s best for you, including that voice inside your head you keep justifying your actions to.

They all want to help, but in doing so they often cloud your judgement.

An expectation here, a should there or a subtle, subliminal message that you hear in passing, is enough to stay inside your mind.

When these voices accumulate it becomes harder and harder to hear what your own voice is saying.

Your mind is too riddled with contradictory, confusing thoughts that did not come from you to find out what you really want to do.

Let’s take going to a Restaurant as an example:

You go to the Restaurant with a few friends and take a look at the Menu.

You’ve been to this Restaurant before and know what you’ve wanted coming here.

Your friend looks at you and asks “What are you going to order?”

Having been excited about the food coming here you tell them what you want to order.

That is when they ask you the killer question: “Are you sure?”

And if there was even the slightest bit of doubt before, now it grows tremendously.
