The Problem With Happiness

Happiness is an emotion.

And just like all Emotions they come and go. All of them. Including Happiness.

The problem is the longer you try to hold onto Happiness the easier it is for it to escape.

When you’re happy you don’t think about it.

You just enjoy the moment.

As soon as you notice you’re happy you’re not happy anymore. You’re focused too much on realizing you’re happy that you miss the point of being happy.

And just like that the bubble pops.

Happiness is a state of being. It’s an emotion that you feel or do not feel.

And there is no way to keep happiness 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

But you can get really close!

I want you to look at the master’s of happiness.

Think about the kinds of humans whose whole existence is revolving around being happy: Children.

What do children do that sustains their happiness for such long periods versus adults who seem to just get glimpses of happiness every once in a blue moon?
