The Top 5 Reasons You Feel Like A Failure And What To Do About Them
Feeling like a failure is different from actually being a failure.
To fail we must have a certain standard to compare the failure to.
For instance, a restaurant fails when it cannot make enough money to sustain itself.
In a different context, however, with different goals or standards, the same failure may turn into a success as that same restaurant could succeed if it were a competition on who can loose their money fastest.
Of course this is not that easy to translate into reality, but what we can say is that most often feelings of failure stem from a place of not feeling like you are good enough according to your beliefs.
This may stem from a few different points:
- You may feel like you are not good enough because you are not working at your potential. This means that there is something telling you that you could do so much more and you are just not living up to that voice at the moment.
- You may consider yourself less valuable than others. You look around yourself and see all these people who are achieving more than you, making you feel like a failure in comparison.
