The Turning Points Of Life

When you look through any other posts talking about turning points, life-changing moments, or paradigm shifts, you will note that they all have the same thing in common:

The choice to change.

Yes, most of the time, the posts talk about some horrible event, or some life-changing experience, but the end of it they all make the same choice.

It is not a matter of where you are, who you are, or what happens to you, but only what you choose to do going forward.

The problem is that the realization that it only requires a choice is often something people do not give themselves the time to think about.

They lack the self-awareness to make a difference in their own lives, which is why they only find turning points through these very big, negative events, although some people get fortunate enough to be met with inspiration or motivation to change.

Many people need to get that event that feels like they’ve been stabbed through the heart to facilitate any changes because they always minimize the negatives of life.

The truth is, we could all have a thousand turning points if we only allowed the negative events to hurt the way they should.

If we truly felt like crap for staying up too late or not getting up on time, if we allowed…
