Various Psychologists and Self-Improvement experts have said it multiple times, that life is as good as its weakest link.

It does not matter how amazing certain parts are, if one part is too low it will suck the life out of everything.

Loneliness, along with a lack of self-belief, fear and a lack of persistence, are the greatest of these.

I remember feeling very lonely during a phase in college.

One year I realized, that although I had a lot of “friends”, none were truly so close to me that I could open my heart to them.

I had made a ton of surface level relationships, with not a single true one among them.

But, instead of making the time to deal with it and limiting some of the other time investments, I simply put it in the back of my mind and ignored it.

Unfortunately for me, I ignored this until it became the lowest point in my life.

A near suicide attempt later, I realized that one cannot ignore the problems in life forever.

At that point, my loneliness took over everything.

I did not study, did not exercise, I did not try at anything because I thought: What’s the point?
