There is only one Certainty in Life

You’re going to screw up.

Life will be a mess. It will be confusing, you’ll fail, and you will be lost at times.

You’ll be filled with regret looking back and worry looking forward.

And you will wait for things to happen that never will while things you never thought possible appear out of thin air.

The question is: What are you going to do about it?

Because while you can try to prepare, it will likely not go anywhere close to what you expect.

Life will give twist and turn the vision around, and, before you know it, you will be in a situation you never thought you could be in.

Negatives turn to positives, positives to negatives, what lasted until now is gone in an instant, and things that you never thought you’d get you get immediately.

And no matter what you do to prepare for all of it, you will still screw up.

But you will also still succeed; whether you like it or not.

The biggest realization about life is that there is only one thing we can say for sure about it all: Nothing is Certain.

Nothing stays forever, nothing lasts forever, and no matter how well you plan nothing will remain the same forever.

But even that is not certain.

The only thing we know is that we can know nothing at all.

Tomorrow may come, it may not, and it could be exactly as we thought it would be but will likely turn out completely different than we ever thought possible.

Preparing for this uncertainty is pointless.

It makes no sense for you to prepare or wait for something to happen that never will.

If you do not know anything about what will happen, then the only thing you can do is try your best right now.

For if you don’t tomorrow may not arrive in the way you expect it to and if you wait too long you will miss your opportunity.

In fact, you’ve waited your entire life for certain things to happen that did not happen yet.

How much longer will you wait?

How much longer will you watch your life go by?

How much longer will you do nothing?

You’ve waited too long not to do anything about your life and missed too many opportunities not to get a move on.

If not now then when?

You are here and you have no idea what will be here tomorrow!

What happens tomorrow is something nobody can know, but what you do right now is all in your hands.

Make the best of the time you are given and do what you need to do, for you could wait your entire life for something that will never come.

Knowing this I ask you again: What are you going to do about it?

Are you going to risk all you have on it working out the way you expect?

Or are you going to take today as the gift it is and make the most out of it?

“Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
and today is a gift…
that’s why they call it present.”
