These Are The Kinds Of Real-Life People Who Fascinate Me

“Oh hey Maria! I am doing amazing! How are the kids?” “They are wonderful! What have you been up to?” “Just living life, you know?”

At first this seems like a pretty average conversation, right?

Well, what if I told you that Margaret is doing way more than she says she is.

Margaret is holding 2 Jobs, all of which she has an amazing passion for; she is a kindergarten teacher and starting up her own career as an artist.

She also has 3 children that she spends 6 hours with every day and, other than that, only really has time to sleep and eat but yet she does more charity work than you think she can do with her given time, going to give at least 8 hours per week.

Her schedule is incredibly tight but she loves every minute of it.

Some days are rougher than others, yet she never stops completely.

Whenever she fails, falls down on her face or when things seem really rough she picks herself back up with a smile and tackles the problem head on.

Margaret lives regardless of the circumstances and tries to get the most out of life that she can; yet she doesn’t say a word about it.

If anyone knew what Margaret would do they would tell her to slow down, to take it easy and to relax, but she doesn’t want to, because she worked hard to get to live this kind of life that she enjoys to the fullest.

The real-life people that truly fascinate me are people that continue to try their best day after day.

It’s the people that do not give up, the ones that have the courage to make their life better and the ones that keep taking one step after another that truly impress me.

These people do not have to be like Margaret and be incredibly happy yet. That’s not what is impressive.

What’s impressive is when life hits you like a ton of bricks square in the face and when you bounce right back to your feet.

The people that can see the fun in that challenge and that put up their fists and fight back are the ones that are truly amazing.

Because, life is hard. Life sucks and it will hurt. It will beat you to a pulp, it will leave you behind, and it will fight you with everything it’s got.

The act of resisting the negative situations life puts on you and fighting for what you believe in is what the greats are made of, and that is something you can find in every person.
