This Is What Makes You Interesting
Being Driven.
Whether that is being driven in a hobby, sport, goal, plan, job, passion or purpose doesn’t matter.
When a person is driven, when they know what they want and when they pursue it with an almost reckless abandon it makes them very interesting.
- Why is that person so invested in this thing?
- What brought them to be this passionate?
- How far are they willing to go for this?
- How can they muster the energy to go for this even when everything around them is falling apart?
- What makes them so passionate in comparison to others?
- How did they become this kind of person?
- What would it take for me to become that driven too?
All these questions come up when someone shows a clear path in front of them.
We look at these people in awe as their certainty, confidence and focus exudes from them like a light at the end of a tunnel.
This driven person has a purpose and we see in them the possibility of creating one too.
They know what they want, their life seems clear and their decisions are easy.
They act on their desires, on what they want life to look like and are utterly confident in their decision.
This ease, passion, desire and purpose makes us interested in them because we want to have that too and they make it seem less impossible!
People that are driven are like a sign that shows us that what we have wanted is possible.
In general, people are interesting to us that have something that we want.
We get invested in another person in the hopes they share their secrets with us or in the hopes that we absorb some of their energy.
That is why most of us are so drawn to driven individuals.
They go at life with such a passionate force and so much joy that we cannot help but be interested in them.
And, after all, isn’t that what we all want anyway?
A life that we feel is worth living?
A life that we can truly invest everything we have into and that makes us feel passionate, excited and happy every step of the way?
A life that makes us feel fulfilled?
If they can let us in on any sign at all as to how to get there, you better believe we will be attentive and interested in everything they do, say and think.
