This Is Why Leaving Your Comfort Zone Is So Important
Right now your life is comfortable.
You have created a unique, but good, balance to who you are and are doing well to keep things in order in your life.
It is not special, not exciting, but it does feel safe, relaxing and comfortable.
Living in this comfort you continue to do what you have always done.
But, over time you notice it is not what you want.
Life is not moving forward, everything seems bland, and every time you do try to change something it makes everything else change too.
At that point the subconscious fear of loosing things grips you and you revert back to your old lifestyle.
You resist change and self-sabotage yourself to keep the comfort and safety you have now.
Just think back on how many things you started that made you feel uncomfortable or strange, or that your friends or family disagreed with.
Think back about the times you had to fight to keep a positive habit or had to justify an action to yourself to even do it even when you knew it was the better thing to do.
And then look at your life now and consider where you could have been and why you’re not.
