What Happens When You Leave Your Comfort Zone
People that decide to leave their comfort zone always walk straight into the void.
It is the void outside their safety zone, the black nothingness where the dangers lurk.
It is the unknown, the not-safe, where fears are born and courage is tested.
That is the realm outside the comfort zone.
To most, the edge of the comfort zone is like a giant wall of shadows.
Looking into it you cannot see even an inch beyond, and sticking your hand through the wall feels frightening.
You have no idea what is on the other side and, at this point, your mind usually runs wild.
It takes your imagination on a negative spiral in an attempt to keep you from exploring outside of what you know.
To say that you would be uncomfortable beyond this wall would be an understatement.
This is why most people never step beyond their comfort zone.
Their comfort zone is their safety zone and they will reason with themselves until they reason themselves out of leaving it.
The only time the regular person steps outside is when what is inside their comfort zone makes them miserable enough to face this wall.
