Confidence is the feeling you get when taking action without Reason.

It is doing something because you chose to and not needing an explanation or justification.

It is the unquestioned choice to be yourself and to act in your own best interests no matter what that means.

In essence: It is the feeling of unquestioned resolve.

Confidence is action without the thoughts about what can go wrong or what others may think.

This only happens in a few scenarios:

  1. When you are being fully committed to a value, action or yourself.
  2. When you absolutely do not care about the consequences.
  3. When you fully believe you are right.
  4. When you have nothing left to lose.
  5. When you have acted above and beyond what seemed reasonable.

All of these have one thing in common:

They are all scenarios in which there is nothing to gain.

To elaborate further, confidence comes from simply being, or from simply doing something without any afterthought.

Often there is no reward for the confident person because it is not necessary for them to act in the way they chose to.
