What Is It All For? — The Question That Can Change Everything

Why do you feel the need to do so much?

Why do you have to make up for lost days?

What is all the rush? What are you working towards? Do you even know?

If you do not know what it is all worth, then why are you stressing so much about it all?

So what if you miss a day of being productive?

So what if you want to relax once?

So what if you already failed at your New Year’s Resolution?

Who cares?

The only one who this has always been for is you!

No one is watching over your shoulder anymore, yelling at you if you come back and didn’t do what you said you would do and no one has to pay the price for your inaction anymore but you.

Yet you still stress as though a million lives are at stake. You worry about leaving things undone all the time, stress about the fact that you do not have enough time and drive yourself crazy for what?

Who told you you had to try so hard?

I want you to think about all of the questions above; I mean really think them through and ask yourself what this is all for in the end.

You worry so much about money, about your friends and family, about your health, and your future.

Your perfectionist side asks you to perform your best all the time, and you get ashamed and regretful if you do anything but your best.

And you walk through life with furrows of worry on your face, discussing a million different things in your mind without ever truly knowing why.

The Truth is that all this pressure you’ve built up was only ever there for you.

This life was always meant to be yours and lived the way you wanted to, but you let other people get in your head.

Your parents pushed their belief of what you should want on you, because they did not know any better. Society gave you a standard to uphold because they needed some hope to hold onto themselves.

Everywhere you went you got one subliminal message after the other, creating a picture of what you should be doing that has nothing to do with what you really wanted yourself.

It’s no surprise then that nowadays you seem to loose yourself in these expectations.

And even if you do fulfill the expectations to the best of your ability, there is always that little voice in the back of your head that you try to silence that knows this isn’t what you wanted.

I want you to listen to that voice.

I want you to find your own reason for living, your own reason for trying so hard and to ignore everything else!

No one, and I mean absolutely NO ONE, can know what you want other than you.

If you have not taken the time to figure it out then you have essentially wagered your entire life on the chance that you will stumble upon it one day.

You put all your cards, all the money, everything you own, your happiness, future, and who you are, on one number out of a billion at the roulette table.

Instead of determining the number with the highest chance of success you instead let it ride again and again and again, hoping to eventually find the thing that fulfills you.

That is one brave move. Risky; but brave nonetheless.

The question is: How has that worked out for you so far?

How many years has it now been that you let that marble ride on the roulette table?

Are you really willing to keep betting on something that has not done anything for you thus far?

Or is it maybe time to take responsibility and take your future in your own hands?

Find out what you want and then start investing in a sure thing, rather than wagering it all on chance.
