What Motivates Entrepreneurs?

A lot of people will look at this question and simply say: “Money”

As with most things, that is the easy answer, but it isn’t the full answer.

After all, money is only a means to an end, and as such cannot be the sole motivator to anyone.

What motivates entrepreneurs is what stands behind the money for them.

I have one client right now who wants to make a lot of money because of the empowered and free feeling she gets when she slams a lot of money on a table.

Burned in her mind is the memory of her walking to the car dealership and putting down 60 thousand dollars for a brand new car, something she wished to be able to do for a long time.

She went through a lot of hardships in her life and the one time she was able to do that she felt not only empowered but also free from that past. She now wants to make more money again to not only re-create that feeling but to build a life around that feeling.

To her money is a means to Freedom.

I have, on the other hand, also been in a group call with a client and his Mastermind circle, all CEOs of various fields in the US.
