What Predicts Success In Life?

There’s two scenarios that predict your success in life:

Scenario #1: It’s very late in the evening. You’ve had a full day of work behind you, went to the gym, exercised, cooked dinner, cleaned a bit, and now you just want to take a short rest on your bed.

You fall into the warm embrace of your bed and lie there for a while.

Suddenly a thought flashes across your mind! You didn’t do that thing you said you would! You forgot something!

Do you get up again?

Do you push your comfort away for the sake of your own word or do you come up with some excuse to do it later?

Do you honor your commitments to yourself or do you flake on them?

Scenario #2: Your at your work or at your school and walk into the office of your boss or professor. They have called you in for a performance review; You failed.

Your boss then proceeds to fire you/Your professor then proceeds to explain you cannot continue your studies.

How do you react?

Do you accept this or deny this? Do you blame it on yourself or the world?

And, most importantly, how long does it take for you to act again? Do you sit at home wallowing in self-pity for a week or do you immediately start…
