What To Do About What You Did Not Learn In School

Personally, I believe there are a lot of skills schools should teach that they don’t.

From taxes, finance, and legal lessons to soft skills such as communication, presentation, and even sales, as well as general psychology, well-being and probably a parenting class.

But it has to be understood that schools were never meant to teach how to make it through life.

The whole point of school was to educate the public to a level where they had more opportunities in life.

Schools were there so that the average person knew some basic knowledge, and they have exceeded in that regard.

But the problem is that as times changed, schools lagged behind.

Changing a schooling system takes longer than it does for society to advance, and as such the school system is lagging behind more and more.

IQs are no longer a guarantee for success or intelligence, we learn too much math and too few life skills, and end up having to go through a curriculum that is largely useless for most, especially later on, while most miss essential things that they have to figure out once they are thrown into the world.
