What To Do When You Are Too Tired of Always Working Hard

No one can always work hard.

It is impossible to put in the effort akin to 100-hour workweeks, time and time again, especially when the results do not match the effort.

But, even if they do, they will never always return the same amount of reward.

No matter what you do, the work you put in will never be worth the reward.

That is to say, as long as you focus on what you gain, you will always lose.

If you found yourself working too hard, you must take a step back.

Stop what you have been doing, let go off your idea that you have to work hard and just take a breather.

Give yourself an opening in your busy life to figure out a few things before you continue:

  • Where are your priorities? If you could choose to spend time the way you want to, what would you spend your day on? Would you spend 4 hours on work and 8 hours with your family? Or would you rather spend 12 hours at work and no time with your family?
  • What do you want to accomplish in every area, and what will you need to do to get there? Do you have goals for your family life? Goals for your hobbies? For your relationship? Then how do you expect yourself to move up in one area if the others are…
