Where Is Happiness Truly Found?
Happiness is found in the moments along the way.
It is found in the laughter with friends, in the appreciation of the nature before us, or in the peace of mind when we wake up before the rest of the world and step outside.
It’s the few instances in time when we forget our worries that create happiness.
For this reason, it would be easier to describe Happiness as our natural state of mind.
Rather than it being something we must achieve, it is something we fall back upon when there is nothing else clogging up our mind.
When we have no worries, no responsibilities, or take an active part in life, we are happy.
Think back to your happiest moments and you will see the connection, especially when you look back far enough.
Do you remember the times when this used to happen all the time?
It might have been during a time where you were running away from a friend as you pretended they were an officer wanting to put you in an imaginary jail, or when you took a small plastic figure and allowed them to be a part of a real movie scene.
Maybe it was when you climbed the most famous “climbing tree” around, or when you made faces in your mashed potatoes, or when you half ran, half tumbled, down the hill…
