Why Having A Mentor In Life Is Important & Why It’s Not

Having a mentor in your life is a luxury, more than anything.

You already know almost everything you need to to reach success in any field, or at least can acquire this knowledge very easily nowadays.

In this time, with information readily available, there is a very low chance that you will end up having to search long to find out the routines of successful people, how they got to where they are or grab any other tools to reach that place yourself.

In this case you do not need a mentor.

Because a mentor will often tell you things you already know.

They do not know the ‘Shortcut’ to success, at least not more than any of the other tips you’ve heard about already, and cannot instantly get you there.

There is no proven method that works for everyone, nor is there such a thing as an easy button they create for you to push.

In the end, you will still have to do those things you learned about and apply them yourself.

Be this a mentor in school, in your job, or for life overall, they will not know more than all the internet at your fingertips.

However, a mentor is not pointless.
