Why I’m Happy Today
Be your own hero. Live Free. Lead a Life worth living.
Those are the 3 motivational sayings I love the most.
They have guided my life for a long time and are something I constantly repeat to myself (I even have one of them tattooed on my back).
Over the years they have become more and more important and have left a bigger and bigger impact on me.
They are the reason I became a coach, and the reason I stand here today, for they served as an anchor during the truly difficult times in my life.
Yet, while I do have these as guidelines, they are still not ever-present things that I always remember.
It would be more accurate to say that I want my entire life to be guided by these 3 sayings, but that that is more difficult than it seems and not always a given.
And even when I have times in my life where I do apply all of them, I still do not always feel like I am my own hero, like I am free or lead a life I would lead over and over again.
I just do not always believe it.
-Time: My 30th Birthday. Enter my two brothers.-
My brothers never gave me spectacular or creative gifts. Usually it was just a gift card, which I was totally okay with.
