Why The Pursuit Of Money Is A Pointless Goal

Because money is always a means to an end.

Having money as a goal is just a form of laziness.

It’s being too lazy to figure out what exactly you have for a goal so you just say you want money.

Assuming money can get you anything you want it’s good enough as a placeholder goal.

But I guarantee you that if nothing else changes other than the size of your bank account your life will remain the same.

People want to have money because they want to have what money enables them to have.

Having money as a goal, however, just adds that extra step in, even if it isn’t necessary.

People get so fixated on wealth, money and success that they lose sight of what really matters.

In fact, most people never think about it and then wonder why they are working so hard just to get money.

When those people finally do get rich, they stand there completely dumbfounded and lost.

The look on their face says “Now what?”.

You might as well skip that step and go straight for what matters, asking yourself what the money is really for.

Why do you want to be rich?

What specifically will you do with the money once you have it?

And how much money does that really take?

Just saying you want money is lazy.

It’s always just a stepping stone, making it a very pointless goal to have.
