Why You Do Not Need Money To Be Happy

If money truly were able to buy happiness, then all poor people would be unhappy and all rich people would be happy.

The fact that you see pictures of smiling people in poverty and hear stories of depression and suicide among the rich should clearly refute the idea that you need to be a millionaire to enjoy life.

Money has a correlation effect, but it is not a causation.

In fact, many studies have already been done on this subject that show that money only makes you happier to a certain extend (According to the study at Princeton this tops out at an annual income of ~$75,000.00).

Please understand that all the money in the world does nothing on its own; it still has to be used effectively.

The problem is that you do not change when you make more money. Not at your core anyway.

No matter how much money you have, it will not change your spending habits and will certainly not simply make you happy.

If you spend a lot of money on clothes now, you will spend more money on clothes when you are rich. They will be brand clothes, will look nicer, but you will still spend the money on clothes and not anything else.
