Why You May Not Be Able To Focus
The reasons why you can’t focus are about as abundant as there are clouds in the sky.
Finding out why you, specifically, cannot focus, is going to be nothing less than a game of “Where’s Waldo” and, probably, most Waldos we find will still do nothing for you.
Focus is a very personal thing.
Some people can focus better with instrumental music, others with hardcore metal, and others do best in complete silence.
Some can focus during the most intense, chaotic and stressful situations, while others will be brought out of their focus by the slightest distraction.
And some can focus perfectly fine on their hobbies for hours on end, but struggle to sit focused for just 5 minutes when it comes to their work.
Where you fall in, and what reasons you may have to lose your focus, will be specific to you, but there are some common reasons that may apply to you:
You are Addicted to Gratification.
If you are addicted to feeling good, you will not be able to be focused for any task.
With TV, Video Games and Entertainment of all kind sucking us in it only becomes natural that we lose our ability to stay focused as we constantly compare to what we could be doing instead (which would be a ton more fun).
