Why You Never Read As Much As You Want To

The truth is that we all have a lot more time than we think we do. Time should never be an issue in your life, unless you are literally so busy you are going to run everywhere you go and fall asleep on the floor before actually making it into your bed.

Think about it: How many hours do you have during the week to do what you want? How many of those are you spending on TV, Video Games, Movies, or other distractions? Do you even know where you are spending your time?

If not, then how do you know you do not have the time? Don’t think you know, don’t estimate how much time you have, actually calculate it so you know exactly how much time you have available to you every week.

Most of the time it is all about giving up something you are doing for something greater, and to me, reading is definitely something greater.

The simple answer is: I make the time to read.

Instead of watching some series, looking up a new video game to play or finding a movie to watch, I will read some pages of my book. I do not do this all day, but make sure to do it at least a little every day.

You have to ask yourself what is more important to you, not what you all have the time for.
