Why You Shouldn’t Work Past a Certain Time
#1: You exhaust too much of your focus on other things.
Not just working takes away your willpower and your ability to focus.
Everything you do nags at your overall ability to do things and removes some of your daily pool of brain power.
It just depends what you use it for when you still have it.
This is why most people do the most important stuff early in the morning; it’s when they have the most willpower left!
Every choice you make, every single thing you have to spend any brain power on to solve, will drain you, even if just a little bit.
To increase your energy try to habitualize as much as you can, try to make more things automated, and save the easy things for later in the day.
#2: Your body rhythm is conditioned.
If you took breaks every evening then it doesn’t matter what you have done before… You will still want to take a break now.
You have trained your body to a certain rhythm. Ignoring that will not make the habits go away.
Instead, you will be fighting yourself on top of everything that already makes your ability to work harder.
