Why Your Life Keeps Getting Worse When You Try To Improve
If you are working hard and nothing is changing, it means that you are working on the wrong problems.
A lot of my clients have this same problem where they attack the surface level problems, expecting their life to change, but it just makes a different problem appear.
They did not address the core of the issue.
Without finding the cause of why your life is getting worse, you will keep exhausting yourself.
Muhammad Ali was a master of this idea.
He knew that to win a fight he had to exhaust his enemy, and so he got very good at dodging his opponents attacks.
Instead of building speed or dexterity, they kept trying to build strength, which he abused to his advantage.
Improving your life is like fighting Muhammad Ali.
Unless you decide to train what matters, you will keep exhausting yourself without making any change.
The question is: How do you know what your underlying issue is?
For that, all you have to do is look at where your life is falling apart.
Are you always worried about money? Is it the constant feelings of loneliness that make you procrastinate? Or is it the lack of self-discipline?
