You Are Not Unmotivated
I am going to give you a very hot, and likely controversial take here: There is nothing that you do in life you do not want to do.
Everything you are doing is, in some way, motivated by you.
You have to want to do this activity which means you have to be motivated, or else you would not do it.
If you hate your job but still go there every day, then you want to go to your job because of what it brings you in the end.
It might be the money, the comfortable lifestyle, or just not being completely broke, but there is something you gain out of it.
What people confuse is the idea between loving what you do and wanting to do it.
Wants are simple desires created by some sort of motivation. There is a driving force behind them but it is weak and emotionless, kind of like going to the bathroom.
It is something you want to do, but do not really desire.
You do not want to simply want but want to be passionate and driven (which is just another want).
If you truly desire to love what you do then you must allow yourself to get emotional about it.
When your reason exceeds the emotion you will find that no matter how you feel, it will not be able to stop you.
