What happens when you are less than you can be?

When you do not try your hardest, do not push for more and just sit on your butt all day?

Where will such a lifestyle take you?

Instead of thinking of why you should be your best, consider what happens if you are not your best; consider the alternative.

When you struggle through life you achieve less.

Now, to the normal person that may seem fine, as you they may not want to achieve that much, but you must think of what “achieve less” truly means.

It is not that you achieve less money, fame or luxuries, but that you achieve less of the things you want out of life.

When you are not at your best you reduce the chance to achieve the things that are important to you.

Sure, you may achieve enough to be “fine”, the question is: Is that enough for you?

If a life that is fine is fine to you, then there is no reason for you to push to be your best.

20% of your effort will net you 80% of the results.

That will mean you will never be in the top 1% in anything you aim for, but that does not equate to a bad life.
